The long awaited album ‘Dead Waves’ from Kyte is finally here and has expectedly been received in high acclaim. The Leicestershire four-peice have been busy of late, including performing at Summer Sonic in Japan, but still have found time to put out this belter. I delved into my much loved Spotify to check it out and wasn’t disappointed, right from the off the album pulls you in to the atmospheric environment it builds, not letting you go until the very end.

Stand out track for me was definitely Ihnfsa, which sees them take a more edgy approach. The title track, Dead Waves, sees the band show a more evolved sound, non rushed and quintessential Kyte. Keep an eye out for them at the festivals this year, but I imagine if you don’t find them, they will find you.
