Little Night Terrors

Little Night Terrors are the six month old Leicestershire four piece that are bursting onto the scene in a big way. Having already played a coveted slot at Summer Sundae and supported Pixie Lott at a secret gig, they now have a gig at the new O2 Leicester firmly in their sights. Andy from the band got in touch to let us know what the night holds in store.

After the closing of the Charlotte in Leicester, it looked as if the era of major touring bands coming to the city might soon be over. Step in the O2 Academy, the new live music venue attracting everyone’s attention. From major artists such as Professor Green, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and Dan Le Sac VS Scroobius Pip, suddenly chart-bothering performers are being booked in to play Leicester, and in the eyes of at least one band, Little Night Terrors, it’s time to show the Academy what local talent is all about.

‘We’re playing on Saturday night, supported by an amazing signed band, Kyte, with DJ-ing from Leicester’s premier music spinning team Joy-Machine plus one more band soon to be confirmed – it’s going to be mental,’ says Andy, 22, singer with Little Night Terrors. ‘With all these artists coming to the city, we need to show everyone that Leicester’s own music shouldn’t be overlooked. There’s so much talent around and it needs to be displayed.’

Little Night Terrors play the O2 Academy on Saturday, October 16th, with Kyte, and Joy-Machine DJ Set. Doors open 7:30pm, Tickets £6 in advance. All Ages but Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Little Night Terrors hail from the Blaby, Countesthorpe area and are brothers and friends, Andrew Stone, Nick Eversfield, Calum Price and James Stone. The band released their first music video ‘Vultures’ to YouTube on June 6th and  are headed to a studio in London on September 11th to record.

  1. Saw this on the terrors facebook, loved their gig at summer sundae, will be at the O2, japan is my
    fave !!!

  2. If you have not seen Little NightTerrors live then I urge you to do so. The first time I saw them they did 2 sets of covers, ok I thought a reasonable covers band. The third set they got stuck into their own stuff, after about 30 seconds of “Vulture” I was hooked it was like “Wow I am hearing something very special here”.
Go see them, do your ears a favour.
    Tony.

  3. Yeh saw them at the summer sundae. Good band, that should go places.

Talking of new bands, I was at a gig in Manchester (Night n day), and saw a corker of a gig from an outfit with a wierd name, Ronson Kiplin.

    Top notch, blew me away!
