Tom Kasabian Reveals Solo Plans

Tom Meighan has recently announced that he will be working on solo material while Kasabian take a break. In an interview yesterday with News of the World Meighan commented on the subject of the headline slot at V Festival this weekend: “This is our last gig. We’re on a break. It will be good to bow out at V. After tonight we are taking some time off. Tonight we are going to have a proper tear-up. V is such a major festival, so it’s emotional for us.” going on to say that during this beak he will be working on music of his own.

Meighan seems to be following suit to the comparisons often made to Liam Gallagher after Liam announed last month that he would be pushing a solo outfit named Beady Eye. Although Beady Eye came in the wake of Oasis splitting, Tom showed that the band are closer than ever showing some love for Serge and his recent induction into fatherhood saying “Serge is doing great”.
