For those of you out there (pretty much every music fan in Leicestershire) who have been waiting for some updates on the new O2 Academies opening in Leicester, it looks like they have finally launched the new website with some juicy deets about who is lined up to play the venues.
In addition to the already announced Plan B is Get Cape.Wear Cape. Fly, Mr Scruff, The Magic Numbers and a whole host of other acts that we are sure will be well worth the trip. Tickets for these events are also a nice surprise, at around £15 for the larger acts it won’t be a pocket buster for all of those short of a few bob or you lucky lucky students.
The Academy Music Group (AMG) venues are currently being constructed and polished for your viewing pleasure as part of the £1 Billion investment scheme at Leicester University.
All of the team here are excited for the grand opening and will be doing our best to make it to as many gigs there as we can. For more information on up coming gigs keep track of their website at www.o2academyleicester.co.uk
